Sometimes..........

Sometimes the hats are many.......................
The challenge often can be, being yourself in them all.......................................
The limits in each roll not always clearly defined.........
The space, acceptance that we too fail............
I think then, we have no hat at all.

I am sitting here taking in inspiration from Mixed Media Artist blogs. Wow there is so much of who we are in what we do. I have been meaning to post, I seriously need to get my own camera!!!! There was a time I had a camera!!! Anyway, yesterday we went cherry pickin!!! As we are pickin I was reflecting, to me there is nothing like putting my bare feet on the grass, dirt, pavement!! My sister kindly mentioned the amount of bacteria on the pavement. So I am mindful not to put my bare feet there. But I can't help it, the earth feels good to me. Being in my small garden is a pleasure to me, touching my herbs, plants and grass. The smell in the air is a sweet fragrance. As we picked it didn't matter how hot it was it brought us joy. Those same cherries are in my dehydrator right now drying for future use and snacks. But I couldn't help thinking of all that the Creator has set before us to enjoy. The older I get the more observant I become of the world around me and my responsibility to care for it. I want there to be something for the future generations to enjoy and appreciate!!! I love looking at the ocean and the way it makes me feel so small..... It reminds me where I stand in the grand plan!!! I love gardens and natural wild places they show you the truth about how much control you have....... This life so quick, so fleeting...... As this Shabbat(sabbath) comes on us I hope I will enter in and cease. I hope that I can appreciate all the things around me that go on so that I can go on.... Thank You Abba........I am humbled.........And after all is said and done, all the hats are off........There is just one thing left and that is me and the blessing of being that was His gift to me. The privilege to know such beautiful souls, the people that are dear to me. It is an honor..................................................

Shabbat Shalom....
