Beautiful Words

"Shavuot is about the Torah, and about the covenant. A covenant has many dimensions to it. A Jew knows that if she/he breaks it, he/she breaks it for all generations to come;all that effort to keep it going for a hundred generations might possibly go down the drain. Conversely, bringing our children into the covenant, watching them as they move closer toward it, step by step, validates and strengthens our own commitment, our own love for Torah and tradition."

I am deeply grateful to HaShem that he is also a redeemer and sent his redeemer. I don't know where we would be. I am someone's future generation and despite the immediate needs the idea of legacy was gone. Our children are our legacy we will move on and leave behind our children and their children. B'zrat HaShem it will be a people unto HaShem that live conciously for him and are a blessing on the earth. That will continue to establish his Kingdom on this earth. Okay so I wouldn't mind if they took after grandmother and became herbalist!!!! And Master Akeret HaBayits!!!! At least for the girls. That our boys would be Torah teachers!!! That the Word of the Most High be passed on forever until the return of MaShiach. Amen

The Family is so important and the passing on of the things we hold most dear is so important.
As we bring in traditions and make our own. We do this for our posterity and let us not forget.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

I must go now I am seriously playing with time.

Shalom
