A Thought Of Shalom For Shabbat
I am here sitting in my new used rocking chair gifted to me. The sun is about fully set and Shabbat is coming in. She the queen of rest. It has been an absolutely insane week of even more productivity and breakthrough's as a family. What more could one ask that HaShem continues to answer heartfelt prayers.
In my thoughts today are these victories. One of the hugest lessons I am learning is allowing things to sink in my heart. There are things you know in your head, but so much is not yet internalized in your heart. Let our prayer be that we could learn and live from our hearts. That our hearts would know the things are heads understand.
I know it sounds a little crazy but when the Bible talks about a heart of understanding. I get it fully now, before I understood with my mind, now my heart comprehends. I share this with you because often we feel confused and frustrated inside, when we thought we understood but there is still resistance. This is because our hearts have not yet understood.
But I caution you it comes with time, time that only HaShem knows of. When you are ready it will happen and your heart will understand.
I am sending you Grace and Space on this Shabbat to give yourself time to understand with your heart. To be patient and kind to yourself.

Allowing for the unimagined-A Thought Of Shalom For Shabbat
What if instead of deferring the vision to others and or to the box we have seen things packaged in, we chose to trust what has been deposited in our hearts. And begin to move in the direction of the unimaginable.
Just writing that to me is beautiful and full of possibility. Imagine all the different doors that would open up if I opened up wider to the verse-"No eye has seen".
So I write to share this little challah with you SoulSista, to encourage you as my SoulSista to release and cling to the wings of your creator. Trust, faith, hope making forward movements.
It's Time.........

A Thought Of Shalom for Shabbat
One of the thoughts that are going through my mind today is why do we want to pass up the buck. For whatever reason HaShem has chosen YOU, in that place, community, family. You as his Wise Woman, not the only one but unique YOU. Why do we insist on someone else when you are the one chosen. WHY CAN'T YOU BELIEVE IN YOU? HE DOES!
Why are we always waiting for someone who knows more (in some people's cases they may need to!) Why isn't HIM IN YOU ENOUGH! I mean the spark is an all-purpose spark if you will. I mean he gave you what you need for the JOB. Whatever it may be.
What an interesting idea to reject some opportunity dropped at your door because you don't feel adequete enough or whatever else you come up with!
So I say, GET TO WORK!
YOU, NOT SOMEONE ELSE WAS CHOSEN, AND ABBA KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!
So go fowardly bodly and prayerfully.
IT IS NOT A MISTAKE!
Shabbat Shalom

A thought of Shalom for Shavuot
This year for me I am coming to renew my vows before my King! I am glad for this time because one of the things I love the most about the Torah and it's lifestyle is that it has tangible acts to accompany it. It's not just talk, it's also walk.
And with this season comes reflective thoughts about where I am at and my home. My oaths and commitments to be an Akeret HaBayit and The King's Wise Woman. These are personal commitments and oaths. All these things are coming to my table this Shavuot there is a degree of sadness because I can see where and how I have not kept my oaths. I am grateful for teshuva and an opportunity to once again declare , yes! Whatever you say we will do! I said this 4-5 years ago when HaShem opened my eyes and answered my prayers. And now having weathered many storms both external and internal here I am again. Truths about my heart have been exposed and things I didn't know were there have been revealed. And to me this has been both painful yet I know, as it should be.
So now I come even more humbled and even more open. That whatever he says I shall do.
I have kinda set up a sort of plan for the two days,
On day one I intend to renew my vows to Torah I am going to take the time took look over and see where I have been lax and where I have grown weary and why. It's all about Torah! And my relationship with my King.
On the second day I want to address things as An Akeret HaBayit, there is much to address in that department and equally a project I will be working on the next 30 days but I will share that at the end of the project. There are many thoughts I want to share about this but not yet. I have spent my life with pleasing and living for the King. He is all I have ever known, has always been my savior and the one I have looked to for my reason to live. Purpose, Vision and intention have always stemmed from the love I have for the Lover of my soul.
These past couple of years have and I repeat been the most challenging of my life, with so many issues coming to surface and so much pain. Losing my surface for the deeper things would accurately define part of where I have been. Ahhhh, faith tested, love tested, loyalty tested. It has all been a test of the emergency broadcast system!!
Some I have failed and some I have survived to tell the story. But this I know for sure!
Abba I love you in my little human way! You are all I know and when the night falls and the silence encompasses me I know you are there.
You have been real with me and have held my hand. Even when I wasn't sure any more and my heart rebelled, your love , your truth remained consistent, you didn't take away my pain but held me through it. You didn't let go even when I didn't know that you were still there. You are not in it for the acknowledging, you were in it because you loved me. Thank you. Whatever comes though hard it may be, I know for sure at every part of the journey you have been and are with me.
Where are you this Shavuot? If you can share please do I think it encourages us all to hear the journey, the valleys as well as the mountains!!
Love

A Thought of Shalom for Shabbat
This year my beds are getting a make over, some have shown wear and some I just know instinctively that they need to done! Even though they look fine, years and experience has taught me that my plants need deeper beds. I feel it, they need the change! I have strawberries and they are in one of the boxes, I'm not sure it is a good idea to move them, they are just beginning to their fruit. I may have to leave that part of my box intact until a better time.
Isn't life like that? Re-read what I just wrote and I know HaShem will illuminate a couple of areas that are similar! I am not a baby gardener anymore, I am learning to be intuitive. I know more and understand better.
That understanding requires me to do things differently. That is just the season I am in! That is what comes with time.
So as you ponder this Shabbat and rest, think on these things. Be confident and know that with time comes experience. Trust is essential as is faith! There will be times of mowing, uprooting, demolishing and building up. But toward the middle of the summer when the tomatoes are sweet and the basil abundant and the flowers speaking beauty, know that is what all that beginning was for! Enjoy it and know that next year you will have more experience and you"ll be the wiser for it!
Shabbat love to you friends
Shalom Aleichum!

A Thought Of Shalom For Shabbat
Shalom Sista's
I tried more times than I can count to get a podcast out using cellspin but I wasn't successful!! UGH
So I figured let me write it cause I wanted to spill this.
These past couple of weeks what has been on my heart is enoughness. I know that is not a word so I'll own it. Are you enough? When is it enough? As a life long learner I am always engaged in learning, always trying to improve, always trying to grow. But recently as I have been going through growing pains I realized I had no confidence, no enoughness, I had succumbed to quantity not quality! I operated from lack and not abundance. I am tired I have given those shoes in. I want abundance in my life and I want to live from abundance. I am fearfully and wonderfully made, those are such commom words now a days. But it's true, I am. Shabbat reminds me of this, in Shabbat we stop striving we rest, it is GOOD! It is ENOUGH! In this parsha portion Emor it talks about the priesthood and I could help to notice the list of what wasn't quality. That is the life I want to live inside out, quality not quantity. In everything from being a woman to a mother, wife, sister. I want the things in my home to speak of quality to us. Things that are important to us. I am determined and dedicated to live from abundance, from love. I don't want whats not good for me, I want quality and I will start by valuing myself. You can't give what you don't posses. So on this beautiful Shabbat, IT IS ENOUGH!! DAYENU!!!
I hope you have a great Shabbat!!!
I send you the love and abundance!!!
Train Song by Josh Garrels
Lord he took all our shame and pain, and set men free
And I’ve got that fire on the mountain
Fire in my soul
It’s been a long time coming, long time
And ready to go
I’m stepping out the door
Doing what feels right
Following my Lord, through the darkest night
And when the path gets narrow
I’ll follow him
And when the world comes down, around
I’ll follow him
He said, sing it on the mountain
Or in the valley low
He’s my God, and he never let me go
He said, sing it on the mountain
Or fight in valley low
Every mans going to see, and everyone will know
That peace runs deep in him
I said peace runs deep in him
Peace runs deep in him.

A Thought Of Shalom For Shabbat
I just want to encourage you to rest in that place.
Sit, sit in that awkward place.
Don't be eager to move too fast....
You are transitioning and transitions take time. Just like adjusting for time zones, your body, mind, emotions are still adjusting.
Give yourself time to adjust to where you are at.
There is nothing wrong with being lime green! The newness of it is often the beauty. So as you enjoy this spring of birth and newness, embrace where you are at. Relish that HE has brought you all this way.
Stop and pause!!
You are not where you used to be and you are on your way.
